Payatas Livelihood Project: A Year of Gratitude
by Marites G. Roca, RSW
![]() It’s been a year since the Payatas Livelihood Project was developed by the partnership of two organizations, the Mother Ignacia National Social Apostolate Center and Charity First Foundation, Inc. Its aim is to help the poor strengthen their worth and dignity by providing relevant services. This project assisted some women of Payatas not only in terms of honing their skills and augmenting their income but also in facilitating the growth of their personality, values and stronger faith. Along the year MINSAC and Charity First provided some women of Payatas continuous variety of job orders, values formations, and some seminars which gave them the opportunity to enhance what they have as a person and as a sewer.

Moreover, the sewers expressed their deepest gratitude to the people behind this project because without them the center would be nothing. They are hoping that this project will last long and will continuously render its service to the other interested women of Payatas in the future.
